A New State for a New World

Imperial Organisations

The Imperial Government operates several state-run institutions and organisations. Although state-run, they have no role in the government (with few exceptions), and may be consulted by the Government if required.

The Imperial Charities Commission undertakes the organisation of official Imperial fundraising activities and is responsible for distribution of said funds to individuals in need, either directly, or via external agencies. The Charities Commission is also responsible for the granting of charitable status to those organisations who can prove their charitable intent, and for the inspection of the same bodies.

As a non-religious body, the Imperial Government feels that it is important to assist with the integration of faith citizens into society, as well as receiving good advice on religious matters. To this end, the Religious Liaison Office was established, with the charge of providing constructive counsel to the Government, and ensuring proper integration of faith groups into Imperial society. The Liaison Office is run by a Director and representatives of faith groups.

The Imperial Science Institute comprises a group of scientific thinkers and theorists, as well as experimenters, who, operating under their Director-General aim to further the cause of science within the Empire and the world as a whole. The nature of the Imperial Science Institute means that they work closely with the Imperial Academy.

The Imperial Academy is a forum for the discussion of all matters scholarly between interested parties within the citizenry. A haven for those interested in the arts, science and all manner of other pursuits , the Academy provides for those looking for a sanctuary from the bustle of modern life.
